My Creative Time Design Team Entry

I was browsing my list of blogs this morning and found out that Emma at My Creative Time is having a DT call. I am so thrilled to be able to submit a project just for her! Unfortunately I do not own any of Emma's awesome stamps. That will change next payday!

I made a gift card holder for my submission project. I used the Imagine for the patterned paper from the Better Together cart. I used a basic square cut and cut two out, one plain and the other the light blue color.

The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado Expressions pack using Studio g black ink. I inked all of the edges in a dark pink color from American Girl mini stamp pad.

This is what the inside looks like. I went ahead and inked the inside too because it was a little plain with just the white. I didn't have a gift card to put in it, but I checked with my debit card to see if it fits, and it does!

Thank you for this amazing, wonderful opportunity to be a part of such an amazing team!

Exploring Cricut Challenge #2

It's that time again! The challenge this week over at Exploring Cricut is to use the Celebrations cartridge using the shapes on page 111. Well, I don't have that cartridge, but I'm playing along anyway. I found a very similar cut on the Yummy cart and tweaked it in CCR to fit how I wanted it.

I  have seen plenty of people doing altered notebooks, but never did one myself. Well, I did one and now I am hooked!!

I first started out with what papers I was going to use. The patterned paper is DCWV Sweet stack. The solid is just from my scrap stash.

I used a mini composition book to alter. They are so cute! They are 3 for a $1 at Dollar Tree. Very good price to mass produce these and give them as gifts. The measurements for the front and back covers is 4.5x3 and the spine measurement is 2x4.5

This is the candy shape that I used. I added some ribbon from Michaels. I ended up not using the lollipop cut. But if your interested it is from the Paisley cart. I forgot which page.

The notebook with the covers and spine attached.

There is some trimming that needs to be done and I just used my scissors to cut the edges.

Ribbon attached where the two papers meet each other to give it a clean and cute look.

 The finished notebook!

 Close up of ribbon bow.

I used an RSVP pen (my favorite!) to decorate and give with the notebook.

The insert for the pen is 1x3.25 I used the same paper as I used for the candy cut.

I hope you like this project. They are very fast and easy to make. Please go to the other DT blogs and check out their projects.

Exploring Cricut- Daily Project

Today is my day to post for the daily project over at Exploring Cricut. I really think the Four-Legged Friends cartridge is so cute so I decided to use it for my card. I hope you all like it.

I used paper from gcd studios, ribbon from my stash, and the card base from pre made cards from Recollections. The eyes are brads. The card is an A2 size card. Cat is cut out at 3.5 inches.

Wall Decor

Hi everyone!

I wanted to make a wall hanging for my bathroom and I decided to make it simple, yet sophisticated.

I made this using the Loverly paper stack by gcd studios. The papers are double sided, so they coordinate with each other.

I stamped the butterfly with some embossing ink and embossed with PEARLuster Peridot by Stampendous!
The ribbon attached is from Martha Stewart.

Here is a close up the wall hanging. The embossing really does shine and sparkle in person! I'm really happy with the way it turned out. If you like it too, please leave me a comment. I love them!

I am also including this in a challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut. The challenge this week is to create something to hang on the wall.

Exploring Cricut Challenge #1

Hello everyone. First, I want to thank everyone for taking your time to view my blog. This is my first post as a design team member for Exploring Cricut.  I want to thank Diane over at  Happy Scrapper Diane  for giving me this opportunity to share my works. When you're finished here please take some time to check out all of the other team members blogs.

Now on to the project. I used the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge for my cuts. I'm using my absolute favorite color PURPLE!! ( any shade :) )

The card is a standard size A2 card. 4 1/4x 5 1/2. I used a cream card stock from the Paper Company.
First layer is a piece of lavender card stock from Bazzill cut @ 4 x 5 1/4.
Ribbon is from Michaels.
The top note is cut @ 3 in. Layered with two more cuts cut at 2 1/2in. and 3 in. from AP cart on page 63.

I decided to make my own Prima flowers for this card. I used an index card to cut the flowers. I then embossed the two flowers with embossing powder from Recollections in purple and lavender. I brought all the flower layers together with some adhesive and used a pearl from Recollections to complete the look.

The four corners of the card is decorated with another cut from page 63 cut at 1 1/2 in. into 4 pieces.

I hope you all enjoy the card. Have a great week and happy crafting!

HIMCR Challenge #14 - Pink Flower Card

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well tonight.
Over at HIMCR the challenge is PINK! You can make any project: card, scrapbook page, tag or whatever you want to create using the color PINK!

Here is my submission to the challenge.

I made it using a pink card base with card stock from the Paper Studio . The circles and sentiment are also card stock from the Paper Studio. I made the flower out of copy paper and stamped an image in a random pattern.

I can't remember where I got the sentiment stamp from but it's with a variety of other "thank you" type stamps.

Thanks for looking everyone and have a great night.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #79

Over at Fantabulous Cricut the challenge this week is "Leaves are Falling". Here is my submission for the challenge.

The border frame and layers come from Pooh and Friends.
The tree and leaves come from Paper Doll Dress-Up.
Base layer is embossed using the swirls Cuttlebug folder.
I inked around all of the edges of the leaves. The card measures 5x5.
Sorry the pics aren't that great. I have bad lighting.

I hope you all enjoy the card!!
